Stroller based programs

Can I try a class before I join?

Your first class is always free! Click the link at the top of your screen to find out more.

Do I need to pre-register or can I just show up?

While you can absolutely just show up, we would prefer you pre-register. By registering, you ensure you get details about where to meet us and what to expect.

What do I need to bring to class

For you: water, towel, yoga mat, or blanket, sunscreen, and comfortable exercise shoes and clothing.

For your littles: snacks, toys, diaper bag essentials, and any type of stroller.

I just had a baby, when can I join stroller classes?

You can begin attending class with your doctor's clearance to begin exercising, typically after your six week postpartum appointment. In the meantime, feel free to schedule your first free class!

Can I attend classes if I am pregnant?

Absolutely! We encourage expectant moms to continue to exercise throughout their pregnancies as long as everything has been approved by their physician. All of our classes are safe & effective for pregnancy. Each of our instructors are certified in prenatal fitness, and we can help you modify any exercise appropriately for each trimester.

FIT4MOM® recommends you obtain your doctor’s approval prior to beginning any exercise program. If pregnant, please speak with your physician before your first day.

How will I know if the class location has changed due to weather?

In case of inclement weather, outdoor class locations may change. Pre-enroll for classes to be emailed with last minute weather location changes or cancellations. You can also check the schedule on our website.

We aim to provide notice of class location changes or cancelations at least an hour before the scheduled class time.

Do I need to be a runner to attend these classes?

Absolutely not! FIT4MOM is for moms of all fitness levels. We meet for a warm up, then power walk or jog to each exercise station. You exercise at the pace you feel most comfortable.

At what age can my baby be in a jogger?

As a general guideline, when your baby can hold his/her head up, he/she can ride in a jogger. But, we suggest that you follow your own stroller manufacturer’s guidelines. You can use a head roll and bolster to make your baby even more secure. With shock absorbers and recline features, the age can be quite young.

And you do not need a jogging stroller for our classes. Any type of stroller will do!

Do I need a jogging stroller for the workout?

Jogging strollers are not required. As long as the stroller is sturdy, not prone to tipping and all children can be safely strapped into their seats for the duration of class, it will work just fine!

My baby doesn't like being in the stroller, gets fussy or I need to feed?

Our classes are designed to keep the kids moving and engaged by incorporating songs and various props. We move quickly throughout the park, and our instructors have songs, stories, activities, bubbles & more woven throughout the workout to keep little ones entertained.

With that said, if you need to change, nurse or console your baby, please do so - remember, you are in good company. There is zero judgment!

Can my older children walk along or ride their bike during class?

Safety is our first priority, so we do not allow kids ages 4 and under to be out of the stroller during class. Children 5 and older may walk alongside you during class, as long as they stay close by!

Per our safety policy, no wheels besides strollers are allowed at class (that means no bikes, scooters, etc.)

Can I bring kids to mom-only classes like Body Boost or Body Ignite?

Sadly, no. Our classes like Body Boost and Body Ignite are for moms-only.

Do I need to be in great shape to participate in class?

Not at all! FIT4MOM is for moms of all fitness levels. We empower you through choice. You will be coached by a trained fitness instructor who will guide you through exercises best for your age and stage of motherhood. You exercise at the pace you feel most comfortable.

What is Run Club+ like?

What if I have not run since before I had my baby or if I have never run at all?

Our Run Club coaches will lead you to your first mile! Whether it is your first mile ever, or your first mile post-baby, Run Club is appropriate for all levels.

Where does Run Club+ meet?

We usually alternate group runs between NMSU Sisbarro Loop and La Llorona Park Trail. Please check our schedule on the FIT4MOM app, or contact your Run Club+ coach to find out where the group run will be at any given week.

Can I bring my child with me to run club?

Run Club+ is stroller friendly. Any child that joins you for Run Club+ should be safely secured in a stroller. Check with our Run Club+ coaches to see if the running location is stroller friendly.

What should I bring to run club?

Running shoes and water are essential. And a stroller if you are bringing your littles.

Can I bring my dog to Run Club+?

As much as we love our pet children, our insurance policy does not allow them to be at Run Club+ group runs or meetups.

Can I bring family or friends who are visiting to class with me?

Yes! Visitors are always welcome to come to class FREE of charge! If you have an extended-stay guest who will participate longer than one week, they may be subject to a $16 per class drop-in charge. All visitors must sign our safety waiver in order to participate.

How do I place my membership on hold or cancel it?

Please email toricummins@fit4mom.com to change the status of your membership. We have a 30-day cancelation policy - All requests need to be received 30 business days before the next payment is due. Once payment processes there are no refunds.

Memberships can be placed on hold for a minimum of one month up to a maximum of four months. Our system auto prorates payments so no paid membership is lost. Please email toricummins@fit4mom.com for any questions or to place your membership on hold.

When can I place my membership on hold or cancel it?

Holds can start any day of your billing cycle. Our system auto-prorates your membership upon release of your hold. We have a 30-day cancellation policy. There are no refunds on dues once payment has been paid. To avoid payment, all requests need to be received in writing 30 business days before the next payment is due.

How do I change my return date on my hold?

You can return from your hold on any day of the month. You need to email toricummins@fit4mom.com at least 24 hrs prior to your return. If you attend class without advanced notice your credit card on file will be charged the drop-in rate of $16/class.

What is the fee to place a membership on hold?

There is a $20 fee to place your membership on hold. Memberships can be placed on hold for a minimum of 1 month and a maximum of 4 months.

Can I attend classes when my membership is on hold?

When your membership is on hold you can attend classes at the drop-in rate of $16/class. Your credit card on file will be charged automatically.

What is the enrollment fee for a membership?

There is a $75 enrollment fee for all new monthly memberships. If you sign up for membership on the first day of class you get half off the enrollment fee!

How do I update my credit card on file?

To update your credit card on file:

  • Log into your FIT4MOM app

  • Tap on your profile photo in the top lefthand corner

  • Click on "Payments"

  • Click "Replace" next to your credit card

  • Add your new payment method & click "Save"

  • Be sure to delete your previous card on file

If your monthly dues payment fails and you do not respond to our emails to update your credit card info, your membership will be cancelled.

To download the FITMOM app, search your App Store and log in using the email address with which you set up your FIT4MOM membership. Follow the "forgot password" steps if this is the first time you are logging in.

Who do I contact with questions about my membership?

Is my membership transferable to another franchise location?

No. Memberships are only valid for the franchise where they were purchased. If you move to an area outside of our franchise, you will need to cancel your current membership and sign up for a membership at the new franchise. We encourage you to contact the franchisee where you are moving to and let them know you have a current FIT4MOM membership at another franchise.
