Hello, I'm Merlinda, an instructor for FIT4MOM Las Cruces! I have two beautiful children who are my motivation! I joined FIT4MOM Las Cruces in February 2022 with my then 2 1/2 year-old daughter. She was born only a few months before the pandemic, so I didn't have a lot of options for working out or for socialization for either of us. After my first class, I knew I was in it for the long haul!

Not only did I have a great workout and get to talk with other moms, my daughter was able to play and socialize with other kids. It has been an awesome way for me to get out of the house, hang out with other mamas and add some structure and motivation to my week. More importantly, I love that I'm an example for my kids when it comes to health and loving yourself.

When the opportunity came up to be an instructor, I knew it was for me! I felt so welcomed and encouraged when I first joined FIT4MOM that I wanted to be able to do the same for other moms as well.
