PLAYGROUP CAPTAIN

(Open to current FIT4MOM Las Cruces members)

Hours: Flexible, with weekly playgroup attendance required

Pay: monthly membership dues waived / monthly budget for supplies provided

Job Summary and Expectations:

FIT4MOM Las Cruces’ Playgroup Captain will connect our members and their little ones to one another, and within the greater Village. She facilitates fun and creativity through activity/craft planning and playgroup coordination.

Key Responsibilities:

• Exhibit enthusiasm for community, health, and wellness
• Facilitate with love, positivity, inclusivity, and authenticity
• Plan & execute weekly playgroups for FIT4MOM Las Cruces each month, working with owner & instructors to collaborate on themes & special events
• Be the “housekeeper” for FIT4MOM’s playgroup supplies, maintaining & replenishing them as needed
• Participate in and contribute ideas for FIT4MOM activities, including Moms Night Out, playgroups, service projects, vendor events and monthly team meetings
• Be an active voice on our village Facebook page & public social media pages, helping to promote community & playgroup events
• Attending as many classes as possible, even not on playgroup days. This allows the membership to know you, and you to know the membership
• Helping instructors as needed if classes are full. This may include taking photos for social media, welcoming new moms, talking with other moms, assisting in Fun4Baby activities to help keep the kiddos entertained.
• Welcoming new moms to playgroup events & generating leads for potential members
