Where is your hometown?

Austin, TX

How did you find FIT4MOM?

My friend in El Paso found it online right before I moved here

What is/was your career?

Currently a SAHM, but I am a pianist and had a private studio for many years

How long have you been a member of FIT4MOM Las Cruces, and what has it done for you?

I just passed the one-year mark. I am so grateful for the friends I’ve made. And I love that Luka gets to see the same lovely group of kids each week. It’s a wonderful example to set for our kids to see us getting outside, having fun moving our bodies, and making time for friendships.

What is your favorite class exercise?

Anything with cardio, because I need the group motivation to get it done!

What is something that has surprised you about motherhood?

How much fun it is even with a newborn

What are three of your favorite things?

piano + puppies + pinterest

What is your proudest mommy moment so far?

In our musical family, we can’t help but be delighted to see Luka already enjoying music, dancing, and beautifully singing so many songs on his own.

What advice would you give to a new mother?

To find a trusted mom friend to lean on for guidance. You will feel supported and capable, without all the noise of the internet.

We are so lucky to have Rebecca in our village. It wouldn't be the same without her and Luka!
