Tell us about who is in your family!

My husband-Caleb, our toddler-Caiden, and our sweet pup, Sushi!

Where is your hometown?

Fort Myers, FL!

How did you find FIT4MOM?

Instagram

What is/was your career?

I’m a Certified Registered Nurse Anesthetist (CRNA), an advanced practice nurse that provides anesthesia for all patients going undergoing surgery and medical procedures!

How long have you been a member of FIT4MOM Las Cruces, and what has it done for you?

A little over a year and a half now! I’m so thankful for FIT4MOM! Not only did it provide a space for me and my baby to stay active together, but it also gave us the opportunity to meet other moms and children around the same age and phase of life! It’s given us a supportive community and village!

What is your favorite class? And your favorite exercise move?

It’s hard to decide, I like both Stroller Strides and Strides 360! I like any ladder work or doing workouts that incorporates nursery rhyme dances!

What is something that has surprised you about motherhood?

I’m honestly surprised how much I love motherhood. In this chapter of my life, even despite how hard it can be sometimes, I feel like I’m thriving! And having a child has helped me even more to live in the moment and enjoy and cherish what is in front of me right now.

What are three of your favorite things?

Traveling, being with family, being outside in the fresh air and sunshine!

What is your proudest mommy moment so far?

Hmm that’s a hard one! I think when my toddler is having a hard time, I have learned to be a more patient and understanding person and I feel so very proud in the growth I’ve seen in myself! It’s hard sometimes, but just me attempting everyday to model the kind of person I want to be in front of my son is absolutely everything!

What advice would you give to a new mother?

Be kind and patient with yourself! It’s easy to have mom guilt or compare yourself with others, but you have your own spark, you’re raising the next generation-that ain’t easy, honey!! So don’t let ANYONE (or even yourself!) dull your shine, mama! You got this!

We are so lucky to have Trish in our village. It wouldn't be the same without her and Caiden!
