This month, we're spotlighting our amazing new Playgroup Captain! Meet our Mom of the Month for January: Alyse Gaynor

Tell us about who is in your family!

I’m a mom to the cutest 9 month old! We moved here in April of 2024 and it’s been the best move!

Where is your hometown?

West Monroe, Louisiana!

How did you find FIT4MOM?

I reached out on social media, asking local moms if there is “anything for moms to do in town?” and Tori [FITMOM Las Cruces owner] commented about FIT4MOM!

What is/was your career?

Mainly accounting/office manager, but now I get to be a SAHM and Playgroup Captain!!

How long have you been a member of FIT4MOM Las Cruces, and what has it done for you?

I’ve been a member since May 2024. This has been very crucial to my mental health and PPD!! It’s been so wonderful to connect with other mamas! We’re all in this together!

What is your favorite class exercise?

The cardio at Strides 360 - love/hate relationship!!

What is something that has surprised you about motherhood?

How much we need others! It’s not a solo journey… it takes a village!!

What are three of your favorite things?

Art, football, playing with Kemp!

What is your proudest mommy moment so far?

Finding FIT4MOM! Not only has it helped me, but Kemp has the bestest friends and he’s been able to experience so much! Museums, crafts, play dates, etc.!!

What advice would you give to a new mother?

Don’t be afraid to ask for help! This is TOUGH, but you have so many people who would love to help you!!

Anything else you'd like to add?

Love this group SO FLIPPIN MUCH!! 🫶🏼 I'm looking forward to creating and making memories with moms and little ones as Playgroup Captain!

We are so lucky to have Alyse in our village. It wouldn't be the same without her and Kemp!
